These drawings were made of the encampments under the freeway overpasses of San Francisco. Many lived in tents under the 280 overpass next to the Caltrain tracks on 7th and Hubbell. On one of the rainiest days of the year - January 17, 2017 - after a week of rain - they were bulldozed by the city. These were real people with all their worldly possessions and no where else to go.
